We were on 32NFM2 in 02. The real 32 and ours will differ in the
beginning of the trek. You will be there about the same time of year as we
were. The weather was nice. On the day you hike to MT. Baldy get there
early. We were late getting off the top. When we were at Baldy Camp
picking up our food a rain hail storm popped up and covered the ground white
with hail. This cooled things off real quick. Baldy was still white the
next morning when we left out. Try not to be on Tooth Ridge in the
afternoon. The chance of afternoon thunder storms can be ruff. We were
getting lightning strikes within 2 seconds of us on the trail. The one
thing I would change for our group would to be better at all of them getting
up and get going early to make the next camp to be on the activity list
quicker. It was our first time out there and a very short learning curve.
In 03 we didn't have any troubles except the trip went by to quick.
