> Does anyone have an opinion about Crocs for use at Philmont as a camp

I saw these in a gear shop the other day. They are lightweight - one of
the store salespeople weighed a pair of 10 1/2's (the range that fits
that size) and they were around 12 ounces for the pair. Don't know
about all the back country protocols at Philmont, but from reading trail
journals on the AT, they seem pretty popular (along with Quarks). Worth
more consideration, at least for me.
Happy Trails,
Roy Fisher
