RE: [Philmont]: High Adventure base award

It's the triple crown award, comes with a nice badge and a certificate -
awarded by the Northern Tier Alumni Association through Northern Tier - I
used to have a bunch of info on it electronically, but I suspect if you were
to contact Northern Tier at 218-365-4811, they could tell you more.

Cheers

Mike

Our council's High Adventure Committee had also recently heard of such an
award, but a search turned up nothing. It was first noticed in a Northern
Tier alumni newsletter, so our thinking is that is something offered
specifically by Northern Tier and not at a national level.

I have been told that BSA has a special award to any scout who has attended
all 3 of the National High Adventure Bases. Does anyone have any info they
can share on this as we have some boys who have been to all 3.

Thanks,

Garry Black
