Most people on this list tend to be rather frantic about getting rapid
turnarounds on the trek selection cards. (I am as frantic as anyone.)
That said, most of the people not on this list - that is, nearly
everyone else going to Philmont - is far more relaxed about it. That
fact, along with the ancillary fact that only about half the itineraries
are filled each day, tends to ensure that "most" of us get our top
choices, and most everyone gets one of their top three.
