Re: [Philmont]: Vegetarian crew member

We had a vegetarian adult in 2002, and the procedure worked the same for
us. He brought some supplemental dinner meals and they were staged out at
our commissary stops with some other special food for a diabetic we brought
with us. Our vegetarian could pretty much cope with the breakfast and
lunch, it was only dinner that was an issue. His tent mate sure lucked out
though, two beef sticks or ham sticks every meal (yuk!). YIS. Mike ('76,
'02 & '04).

We had an adult with special dietary needs in 2002. He carried his own
prepacked meals with him to Philmont and the kind Philfolks sent his
special packets to the commissaries on our trek. Worked without a hitch.
