Hope your hike went well.

I thought I'd pass along an article to the Sierra Club magazine that
talks about possible loss/drilling on land used by Philmont, in case you
are not a member or hadn't had time to scan the latest issue, since it's
up on the Internet now. (Oddly, although Boy Scouts are mentioned on
the cover of the mag, the article makes only passing reference to Scouts
and Philmont, as losing use of the area if drilling starts.) I think
