I thought some of you might be interested in this one, #24 in 1989. It
is listed at 109 miles and Super Strenuous.

Day 1 Camping HQ

Day 2 Lover's Leap Ranger Training
(2 miles)

Day 3 Beaubien Western Lore, Chuck Wagon Dinner; Hike Trail Peak;
(9 miles) Pick up food at Phillips Junction

Day 4 Miner's Park Black Power & Mtn Livin @ Black Mountain; Rock
(7 1/2 Miles) Climbing & Envir. Awareness

Day 5 Comanche Peak Hike over Black Mtn, Bear Mtn & Big Red. Dry Camp.
(12 miles)

Day 6 Ute Springs Side Hike Mt. Phillips; Gold Mining & Prospecting @
(11 miles) Cyphers Mine. Trail Camp.

Day 7 Santa Claus Get water @ Cimarron River; Pick up food at Ute
(13 1/2 miles) Gulch. Dry Camp.

Day 8 Black Horse Dean Challenge @ Head of Dean; Mountain Man
(11 miles) Rendezvous @ Miranda. Trail Camp.

Day 9 Pueblano Hike Baldy; Continental Tie & Lumber Co. & Philmont
(13 1/2 miles) Story Campfire; Pick up food at Baldy Camp

Day 10 Dan Beard Hike over Wilson Mesa; Low Impact Camping
(ll miles)

Day 11 Cottonwood Trail Camp
(8 miles)

Day 12 Camping HQ Hike to Six Mile Gate for Bus Pickup
(10 miles)

If you add the mileage numbers, you come up 1/2 mile short of 109.
