Two weeks later it was just a fast flowing stream no more than a foot or
so deep in most places. But you could see where the previous week's 6'
flash flood pushed down the Sunflower and Ragweed in a wide birth on
each side, some places it was 10-20 feet wide. I could only imagine the
force of the raging water and that was enough to teach me a healthy
respect for the forces of water.
