I went to Danny Oder's site and put Fishing into his trek search tool and
nine treks were in the result set. #12 was not one of them. Of those nine,
four of them (13, 14, 16 & 18) had camps other than Fish Camp that night.
13, 14 & 18 camp at Agua Fria which isn't too far from Fish Camp while 16
camps at Apache Springs which looks to be about twice as far as Agua Fria
is. #12 camps at Lost Cabin that night which is between Aqua Fria and
Apache Springs. How hard would it be to do the entire program at Fish Camp
and go on to Lost Cabin later that afternoon?
Thanks,
Bill Summers

I just noticed that trek #12 includes a visit to Fish Camp on day 4 and
the program description reads "Fly Tying, Lodge Tour @ Fish Camp". All
the other treks that visit Fish Camp have a program description that
reads "Fly Tying, Fishing, Lodge Tour". Is there some reason that #12
doesn't include fishing or was it just left off of the description?

The usual Fish Camp program for crews passing through is "Fly Tying &
Lodge Tour" and #12 is a trek that goes from Crags to Lost Cabin so the
crew is just passing through rather than camping overnight. In other
words, the program at Fish Camp would be done after leaving Crags but
before arriving at Lost Cabin.
Normally, a crew won't have time for actual fishing at Fish Camp unless
the crew is spending the night there or having a layover day.
A crew on #12 could fish at Crags though, and at Old Abreu too.
