What is the current Phil-policy these days about itinerary change requests
while on the Trail ? I know that crews, understandably, could not switch
during the Fire year in 2002.
Has the policy eased up any ??
You can forget about any itinerary changes - their policy has not changed in
recent years. Up until that late 1990s, they were pretty lenient with
itinerary changes but it started proving to be too much of a hassle, hence
the ban on changes. Medical reasons are now the only acceptable reason for
requesting a change while on the trail.
