Subject: [Philmont]: Trek 9
Can anyone direct me to an online diary of a crew or crews that may have
descriptions of the trail(s) from Dan Beard to Rich Cabins to Greenwood
Canyon to Copper Park? I have a Valle Vadel map circa 1998, but there isn't
a marked trail from Dan Beard to Rich Cabins, only a 4WD trail from Rich
Cabins to Greewood Canyon, and no marked trail from Greenwood Canyon to
Copper Park. The yellow addendum page to the Philmont Treks: 2005 Itinerary
Guide shows that the new Northwest Sectional should cover the trails
described. Hopefully the four new sectionals will have more (and accurate)
detail of the ranch.
