I'm having trouble picturing this...trekking poles lashed together to make
them taller, or is "walk" short for "duck-walk"? :o)

I have no problem using the Philmont Tarp. Have done it twice.
We had enough crew members with treking poles and didn't use the PHilmont
TARP Poles. With enough Treking poles it was nice to make the tarp high
enough to walk under.
