I know sleeping bags are a very individual thing. everyone sleeps at different temps...cold vs warm sleepers, bag ratings are not uniform...a 20 degree bag may or may not keep you warm at 20 degrees, etc.
I was wondering what temp rating makes sense for Philmont in July. I have heard of 30's and snow, but was wondering if that is unusual or is it a rather common night time temp. is a 20 degree bag too warm....40 degree too cold?
Any help would be appreciated.
