RE: [Philmont]: Kilts

We were at Philmont this last summer (808-J). When we were in base camp
before our trek (Aug 7), we saw one youth wearing a kilt. I was told he was
the crew leader for his crew.

    We've seen more and more guys hiking in kilts on the Appalachian trail
here in the east. Has anybody seen them at Philmont? Any thoughts on youth
wearing them. We've had one youth ask. He even ask if we could have our crew
picture done in kilts.
