Got our Treks books today in Schertz, Texas. BTW, the issue with the
Advisor's Quandary (under-treking) has been resolved. It was the
youths' selection, but they made it based solely on program features.
The initial first choice is still on the list, but a distance Fourth.
21,28,32,3,29 if I remember correctly.
> 28 - Rimrock Park, Aguila, Miners Park, Shaeffers
> Pass, Clarks Fork, Cimarron River, Black Jacks,
> Miranda (2 nights), Pueblano
The Map for 28 shows day 4 closer to Clarks Fork and day 5 somewhere up
near Ute Springs, possibly Deer Lake. Based on the overall mileages,
that makes more sense. Miners Park to Clarks Fork in two days, even
with a side hike to ToT is pretty light for a Strenuous (or Super
Strenuous) trek. It also makes a VERY long day from Clarks Fork to
Cimarron River. Not sure, but worth a call anyway.
Happy Trails,
Roy Fisher
