[Philmont]: Pith Helmets

I have seen several Scouts wear these during treks. The only comment I
heard, from one of them, was a complaint that his backpack kept hitting
the helmet all the time. [This is a similar complaint with cowboy hats
and Australian style bush hats, for people using tall backpacks that are
nearly touching the back of their heads even without a hat.] Like
everything else, something to see about during your shakedown events.
It may be that actually doing it will be a lot more enlightening than <a
priori> talking about it.
