No paramilitary or military gear (remember the camo rule) is to be worn in
sanctioned scouting activities. Not sure if pith helmets would qualify.
Also, what advantages/disadvantages are there wearing them. Seems to me
they are heat collectors and have no way to dissipate moisture.
