I've seen a lot on the one-pot method on this list with the turkey bags.
Last year, we just cooked in our cups/bowls, added the boiling water,
and had no pot clean-up or turkey bag. Cooks are relegated to water
boilers and ladlers.

We'll try the Oatmeal cold, we did survive pouring the hot water into
the envelopes so far....

water and since we never ate breakfast in camp why bother with stoves
(unless cold and rainy). Just pour some water into the packet, stir a
bit, wait a bit and eat. Guys thought they were just fine - we now have
a new, easy custom on troop hikes with cold instant oatmeal.

of the lunches include canned meat, and can get heavy. Cooking
techniques are your own personal preference, We used the one pot
