Not much to it really. Fill the bottle with water, drop in a tablet and
wait till it stops fizzing, then bleed a little of the treated water
around the rim of the bottle and wait the specified time - around 30
minutes except in "very cold and dirty" water (15 minutes gets rid of
most things but cysts). The instructions tell you that "very cold" is
40 degrees F. Then you need to wait 4 hours to get rid of cysts (this
is where a filter comes in handy)

Micropur tabs, correct?

They are pretty pricy - around $14 for a packet of 30 - but if you want
to practice "the real deal" then I guess so.

Happy Trails,

Roy Fisher
