[Philmont]: 617-K3 Trek #7 Confirmation

617-K3 received confirmation of trek # 7 on 21-Mar-2006 at 4:18 pm EST.
 
Trek itinerary package was received in the Pee Dee Area Council Service
Center on Wednesday, March 22.
I scanned in the information and sent it to the contingent crew 617-K3
Wednesday night.
They knew from the last shakedown that this was coming. The crew leader met
with the boys in his town and made the decisions based on what the rest of
the crew had discussed previously.
I called the crew leader Thursday night and asked if he had any questions.
He had none and gave me the list of trek choices.
Friday morning the trek card went to FedEx at 9:26 am
Saturday morning it was in Sante Fe at 7:42 am (awaiting local delivery on
Monday)
Monday afternoon it was delivered at 1:54 pm
Tuesday afternoon e-mail confirmation received by lead advisor at 4:18 pm
 
Worth the cost to be able to track progress with FedEx.
Philmont continues to impress me with it's organizational strengths.
Attended as a family at Philmont Training Center in 2000 and was duly
impressed then.
