In 1993, each of the staffed camps had a sign on the exchange box: "Do
not leave Cream-of-Wheat!" From that, I surmise it was not just the Scouts
who didn't care for the stuff.

Fortunately, that nasty stuff had been eliminated from the PhilMenu by 1995.

At my very first summer camp with a troop back in 1982, Cream-of-Wheat was
our first breakfast (cooked in our campsite and served on paper plates).
Almost none of our guys ate it but the paper plates, each covered with a
spread out gob of the stuff, made great flying saucers.
