There is a list of "Section Maps Needed for Each Itinerary" on page
23 (right before the first Itinerary page) in the Treks book. There
are 5 sectional maps, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest, and
Valle Vidal. Sometimes you can figure it out by looking at where
your itinerary goes, but best to check.

These sectional maps were new in 05 and will be updated on a more
frequently basis than in the past, due to Philmont now having the
needed technology and having a fantastic IT manager who's interested
in staying on top of this. The next printing will put the Northeast
and Northwest on one piece of paper (using front & back), and
likewise combine Southeast and Southwest. The ToT Traders manager
told me today that they have enough supply of current sectional maps
(the 05 version) to fulfill needs through July or August. So, I'm
told, if you want a sectional map for the 06 season, you might as
well go ahead and buy them now since the next printing won't be
available till end of the summer.

Once you are assigned a trek, where can you find which sectional maps you
need for your hike?
Thanks.
