[philmont] 2007 Treks Book

At this point, our Scout Exec has been the coordinator for our 3 crews which all turn out to be loosely Troop based. His thought is that he will have me listed as the contingent coordinator for the trip but he wants to keep his thumb on the pre-trip planning which is fine with me. I'm relatively sure that all the 'stuff' will come in to the council office (~100 miles away) and I'll either have to wait to have them transfer it to our 'field office' in town where I am, will have to drive down to get it or if I'm lucky, it will come in today and when I'm at the scout camp closest to the main office Saturday someone will bring it up to me. On another subject, on the cross reference chart Jim posted, if my crew chose, say Itinerary 4 out of last year's book, we will put in for Itinerary 14 in the 2007 Treks book. Are the Itineraries the same, just renumbered? or are there changes to the camps on the itineraries as well? Jim, Thanks for all the great work you've done on the Phil-search website!! it's been a great resource and tool!! Kevin PS. Calvin, Thanks for the direct reply, sorry for the double message!! ----- Original Message ---- From: Calvin H. You may want to check to see how your council plans to distribute the books and other information. There should be someone serving as contingent coordinator so that will be the person to contact. -- Calvin > I have another question along this line. Is there a standard way the books get from Philmont to the advisors of council contingent crews?
