[philmont] Treks 27 & 9 Mileage

So I haven't coorelated all of the profiles to the itinerary summaries, that
said and after what can only be described as a cursory glance, I'd say:

wrt 2007 27 - this one looks wrong. Given the choice, I'd be inclined to go
with the elevation profile's distance ... I'll try to confirm with the
ranch.

wrt 2007 9 - this looks OK to me, specifically what's your issue?

  Our crew was planning on old trek 21 as their first choice which used to
be 65 miles. With substantially no changes, it is now listed as trek 27 at
80 miles on page 77 of the 2007 treks book. The elevation / mileage chart
on page 76 shows it as 70 miles.

  Can anybody clue me in?

  Also, the daily mileage markers on the chart for trek 9 don't seem to
correspond with the map (day 3). As a newbie, is this true, or am I missing
something?
