Kenny, thanks for the info...
I would love to take you up on your offer, however, I do not think it is allowed that one group can "offer" their slot to another. If a crew is unable to use a reservation, that reservation must be relinquished back to the Philmont Camping Registration office. Then, their office can offer it to the next group on the waiting list. I too would like to use your slot and would jump at the chance, but I don't think it's fair to those who have been on waiting lists for years on end or higher (a lower number) on the list then us for 2007

Subject: [philmont] Crew opening 707-M5
Hi Everyone,
I am the Council volunteer for our Contingent and we seem to have 12 slots open for July 7th , 2007. I am wondering if there is a group out there that would like to pick these up from us?
We normally have 5 crews go each year, but somehow we managed to lose a crew when there wait list came open.
I can only assume that the Council would let them go for the regular Philmont fee and who ever, would pick them up could make their own travel arrangements.
Any takers please email me off the list so as not to add a bunch more emails on the list.
Thank You
Kenny Long
