[philmont] Coffee

I think the Folgers Singles are a good idea for coffee drinkers. I
took them in 2002 and they worked fine for an average cup of coffee.
Last summer I thought I would upgrade the morning regimen for the
advisors and brought fresh ground coffee and a coffee press. This was
a stupid idea. There is no way to seal the aroma of fresh ground
coffee in a ziplock bag. The smell is absorbed by the backpack, which
becomes a smellable. Also, dealing with the coffee grounds is a mess.
I threw away the coffee at a staffed camp and fortunately did not run
across any coffee drinking bears who were interested in my pack, but
the pack took a day to air out.
