I always weaned myself off caffeine prior to my treks. I did take some
decaf coffee and tea bags and used them when time allowed. Usually did
not bother in the morning unless it was a layover day or for some reason
we were doing a late start. One night at a trail camp we invited other
advisers over to our site and had our own little advisor coffee.
