[philmont] Camp Chairs at Philmont

George, I've carried a Slinglite to Philmont twice, Boundary Water once, the Pecos Wilderness and last summer to the Wind River range. I wouldn't leave home without it.

Other chairs are less expensive but I bought the Slinglite because of its comfort and weight. By the way, it weights about the same as a thermarest chair without the pad.

It keeps me off the ground, handles my weight with ease (slightly over 200) and adjust to the position I wish to take, whether sitting up or reclining for a quick snooze.

I have had it for 10 years and used it on many other less intense camping activities plus several week-long training events.
