I'm 6'0". The headrest works perfectly for me. The thing is, you can attach the headreast at a height that is comfortable for you. It's hard to explain, but the headrest just "clamps on" to the main tubes of the chair. I would guess that if you got much over 6'4" or 6'5" the entire chair would become too small...
