[philmont] Musings - 2008 Treks

Al sez "List has been strangely silent with questions about specific treks in anticipation of the TREKS books arriving in a couple of weeks."

Compared to last year there is, as Al points out, literally no chatter about 2008 Treks. Perhaps thats because last year we knew months in advance that all treks would be renumbered and that the difficulty would be re-accessed and that this year there were no leaks of impending doom.

While I'm not permitted to comment on 2008 Treks specifically yet, I can say that 2008 represents a more typical year and that there are very few material changes. That said my opinion of what is material may not be universally shared, so, wait for 3/15 patiently.

As for "Maybe Jim's PhilSearch site answers them all?" - That will be a sad day for Jim. In the mean time SEND ME PICTURES.
