Sorry, wanted to flesh this out a bit.

For what it is worth my brother was one of the guys who would sit by a
dry creekbed all day rather than do ANYTHING else. We fought like,
well, like we were brothers about just about everything. Today if I
were in a bind he is the second person I call for help (my wife is 1st
..... HIS wife is 3rd ).

Many of our most cherished memories were doing things that at the time
he thought were stupid and he did not want to do. Many time the things
we did WERE stupid and no one remembers them much. I don't have many
fond memories of those times when we sat at camp and did nothing when
there were lots of other options. I guess that is because we got out
enough that sitting around camp doing nothing was not a "rare" experience.
