Ed,
Our Burro days were from Miranda to Ponil. Our burro earned the nickname Sir Fredreguard the Noble stead. The only habit that was annoying/gross was his desire to urinate in every stream he had to walk across. We loaded him with a moderate load and he never gave us a hard time. Climbing up to Baldy skyline from Mirarnda the burro set the pace and we had to pick up our feet. In the morning,
he brayed loudly for us to wake up and pay attention to him. He lightened us up and pulled us along and only once tried to push a Scout off the side of the trail.

I understand that if you select a trek that includes a burro, you must now take the burro. It is no longer optional. Anyone that has had a burro experience, please comment. Give pros & cons. Also whether your borro trek was Ponil to Miranda or Miranda to Ponil.

Thanks,
