Hey Mike,

The short answer is that Philmont will always take staff applications even
this close to the summer.

The slightly longer answer is that Philmont sends out contracts until all
the positions are filled. Typically, the ranch will have people accept a
contract then for some reason (School, work, family, etc.) have to cancel
before they arrive making an opening. Additionally, at times, slots will
open up throughout the summer. Your best bet is to have the person apply as
soon as it is possible because they are sending out positions daily.
