Jim

I think that this would be a worthwhile feature. The more social crews would really get into it, while the others would still be clueless.

A tool to help determine rendezvous opportunities was included in the 2007
version of PhilSearch and was used by our home council to create a report
that allowed our crews to determine where they would cross paths.

The vision has always been to expand this capability to allow crews to learn
in advance the names of crews that might meet as well as possibly
determining who their sister was going to be. I'd like to know if anyone
  would use such a feature.

I expect that you would update your acct with your crew number and
intinerary number and indicate that you waould accept contacts, Philsearch
would then look for matches and either notify them with your contact info.
When new crews were added you would get notified as well. Further, you
could turn it off by an acct update.

  Thanks
