Last year when I was in TOT I was looking for the Philmont Field guide (
this may be an incorrect title but in essence it was a wildlife guide book for
the ranch). I was told it was out of print as they were updating a newer
version. Does anyone know if that is available yet. Our sister crew's adult
advisor had one from a previous trek and I would have been willing to carry the
weight. In fact I think it was so valuable I would put it on every crew
equipment list. Since rain pants seems to have set of a firestorm I can wait to see
what added this book to a crew's equipment list will bring!
Good weather and safe trails to all
