How comfortable is the the advisor's contacts? By that
I mean, can the contacts stay in the eyes for more
than 24 hours?
I took contacts to Philmont in 1999. I had no problems
with the contacts. However, my eyes stay moist very
easily and I am able to wear thems for 36 hours
without difficulty.
I used opportunities around the dinner meal clean-up
to wash my hands and take my contacts out then. Or
when we were in a staffed camp with showers and sinks
(we had that twice on our trek), I took my contacts
out early.
I still don't understand how contact solution and
contacts can be considered "smellables", but then
again, I'm not a bear (just a Bobwhite!)
