Below is the reply I sent Jon outside the list serve.
I am willing to send same stuff to anyone else who wants.
My crew 618-J did trek 13 last year. It is a great trek. Our crew was
quit young and none of us had hiked before we started our training.
I have posted a journal at:
http://www.lns.cornell.edu/~seb/philmont-618j-2001.html
Pictures of the trek can be seen at: http://www.geocities.com/philmont618h/
I also have all my planning documents which include digital maps and
profiles of each day I can send if you want. The profiles are on an MS
Excel Workbook (size is 61.5 KB) This shows graphically your vertical climb
and descent and distance each day as well as estimated hiking times.
I can send you individual maps of each day, as well as an overall map. Map
size is about 850 KB. I can send as FTP if you have a place or as
attachments.
I have a lot of other stuff including a real player slide show and a
journal I kept as we trained.
Respond and I will send you as much as you want.
You will have a great time.
Best advise is to Hike, Hike, Hike, and train as a crew often.
