The only maps provided by Philmont are the ones that were included in the
planning kit sent to you back in March. Those maps are good for planning
purposes, but you really should use the sectional maps for hiking due to their
greater detail. You will need to purchase any additional maps when you arrive
at Philmont (or before you go, if you preferto do it that way). As others on
here have menitoned, plan on two sets of maps per crew. Each map costs $5.
