Actually, I generally used them on my feet when arriving in camp and
changing shoes and before eating when I didn't use the hand sanitizer. The
ones I carried were labeled scent free. I think they were the "equate"
brand from walmart. We also used them to clean cuts and scrapes. I
understand there is a difference between what is scent free to me and what
is scent free to a bear - that's why I treated them as a smellable. I do
believe they are less attractive to a bear than the food smells.

I took the trash compacting as a personal challenge. My food wrappers and
what ever else I didn't personally pack out generally fit in the equivalent
of 1/2 of the personal sized cereal boxes we used for breakfast.
