Who poked that bear and woke him up?? ;+). Only kidding John.
One interesting note...Although I am in shape, my crew "keeps down" with the
slowest member. I cannot, nor would I, try to keep up with 14-18 year-olds.
My first trek ('93) our teens kept racing ahead and waiting. When we finally
would catch up they would take off again. No fun. All treks since, we have
traveled together, and slower. I have seen many crews at Philmont that were
spread out way too far apart for this very reason. It is NOT OK. It is NOT
safe. Slow down and smell the roses ( and the thorns!!)

Going back in 2003!!
