We are trying to figure out what expenses our crew will have once we get
out to the Southwest so we can collect money upfront from each member.
I'm talking about group expenses that need to be shared, not individual
souvenir shopping. Here's what we've come up with so far. Any additions
would be greatly appreciated along with approximate costs.
Pre-Philmont:
rental car gasoline
camping fees
food
tolls between Albuquerque airport, Taos and Cimarron?
At Philmont:
Fuel for stoves - how much for crew of 12? Powermax and white gas.
Unforeseen expenses:
Equipment and supplies
We figure anything truly extraordinary can go on someone's credit card
and paid for later.
Is there a typical amount leaders collect up front?
