I am equally surprised at the lengths people go to slip by. But whom do they
think they are kidding? The folks at the health lodge know those
height/weight limits like the checker at my grocery store knows the code for
apples; in fact they could probably recite them in their sleep! Weight is a
hard thing to cheat on, you either look like you are in the right
height/weight ratio and you just get a BP check or you look overweight and
get weighed. The funny thing is that for most folks, blood pressure should
adjust after a day at base camp, but it's pretty hard to drop 15 pounds in
24 hours! The other folks that worry me are also the ones who just fill in
their own form and sign off for the doctor without even an exam!
