[Philmont]: Subject: Leave No Trace

I was looking over the Philmont Traning Centers schedule for this summer and
saw that they were teaching a LNT camping school this fall. Has anyone ever
taken this at Philmont before. I would like to take the course but also do
some hiking as part of an Autumn Adventure program. I was courious if this
was possibe or if most of the course was taught at PTC

While I do not know the specifics of that course, I do know two people who
took other PTC courses last September the week that we were there on
Autumn Adventure. Both courses included camping (not just hiking) in the
back country. I'd ASSUME that the fact the backcountry is available would
be a factor in scheduling courses then rather than in the summer (but you
know what happens when you assume....)
