Both our Ranger and myself wore heavy soled, velco strapped sandles with
thick wool socks while in camp. Neither of us would have hiked Mt. Phillips
or Tooth in those sandles. My feet never felt better and it was another
reason to look forward to getting camp setup each day. Not sure why, but I
didn't use these socks in my rotation for hiking.
