I have been a Timberline advocate and user for over 20 years as a Scoutmaster of two troops in Chicago and Miami and have recently purchased 4-man Timberlines exclusively for my Miami Troop. Have used them in Philmont, in Canada on a canoe High Adventure trip, in the cold of late Fall in Chicago and now in the South Florida heat and humidity. Wouldn't use anything else for the price, weight or durability. Goin' back to Philmont on '04, with our Timberlines.

I almost added my two cents worth that the Eureka Timberline is just about the perfect combination of rainworthiness and ventilation for a summertime tent which also qualifies as a three season tent.

I haven't found many tents to out perform the Timberline. Sooooooo, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Tow advisors used a 2 person Timberline and three female youth used a four person Timberline last summer on the PhilTrail.

None wanted anything the Timberline did not furnish.
