[Philmont]: New Colorado Law

Recently the Colorado Legislature passed a law that prevents lawsuits by
minors if their parents sign a release. The law is Colorado Revised Statutes
13-22-107. The law became effective May 14, 2003.

This law specifically states that children and their parents cannot sue for
injuries the child receives if the parent signs voluntarily and is informed
of the risks.

If you are not based in Colorado, but have a "connection" to Colorado that
can be used to base any lawsuit in Colorado, I would suggest you contact a
Colorado attorney to see if the law would help your and could be used by
you.
