At Ponil, I woke up in the morning & went out to "salt a rock" as we
called it. The rattler that had chosen my rock to sun himself, seemed
much larger than he probably was. All I could think of was the punch-line
to the old joke "You're gonna die man", as I zipped myself back up, &
backed away as slowly (& quickly) as possible. Fortunately, I didn't
startle him & he was cooperative enough to stay put long enough for all
our boys to view from a distance.
YiS,
Rick (a good ol' buffalo too)
