Coffee is standard instant in single serve packets and they let you have
as much as you want. We usually take one per day per advisor that
drinks coffee.

We all take it black so can't remember about sugar and creamer. Coffee
packets went up in the bear bag.

Subject: [Philmont]: Coffee

Dear Philmont Pholks,

I learned through this list and Wally's guide that coffee is distributed
during the first night before the trek begins.

Could someone provide a bit more detail on the specific form of coffee
distributed? More to my interest, is the coffee for the advisors in the
form of the ever-popular tea-bag packets or something else (just the
grinds)? How many coffee packets are available for each advisor? Would
you recommend that coffee drinkers bring their own supply or is
Philmont's supply and quality adequate? I'm also looking for the wisdom
of the group on previous experiences with cream and sweetener. How have
you handled these in the past? Understanding the smellable factor, I
suspect that these luxuries need to be treated carefully.

I would be interested in the coffee supply containers pholks have used
in the past during their trek too. Please advise.

Thanks in advance for your input on behalf of the coffee fanatics!

Sincerely,

Steve Eisinger
