RE: [Philmont]: Coffee

In 2001, our 3 crew advisors just brought a ziplock from home with an
adequate supply of Taster's Choice, and we heated water 1st thing in the
morning for our 1 cup caffeine fix. Obviously, the ziplock went in the
bearbag with the rest of the food... No waste bags to carry out, and the
freeze-dried instant is very lightweight.

In 2001 coffee was the powdered instant variety (regular or decaf)in
individual serving packets. The coffee/creamers/sugar etc were on a table at
the advisors meeting and you just took what you thought you needed. All of
this went in a bear bag with the other food. You might want to bring an
extra ziplock to keep these things together.
