Any ideas about good books to take and read on the trail? I think that the
weight is well worth it. I enjoyed Louis L'Amour's Haunted Mesa on one of my
trips and I have read all of the Philmont books like Return to the Summit
and Magic Mountains etc. I want to read something that is related to
Philmont's or New Mexico's history, either fiction(historical) or
non-fiction. What have you all read that sets the tone for our next trek
through the Sangre de Cristo Mountains?
